Serbian Official Detained In Kosovo

Kosovo police briefly detained a senior Serbian government official who had traveled to the north of the country, defying a ban by Pristina. Marko Djuric, the head of the Belgrade government’s office for Kosovo, was transferred to a court in the capital, before being expelled from the country. He had planned to meet with Serb minority representatives in the ethnically divided town of Mitrovica. (RFE/RL’s Balkan Service)
